How to reset your M365 password

This How To guide will show you how to reset your Microsoft 365 password

Step 1:

When you are on the website, Myapps.Microsoft.com, select, "I can't access my account"

Select Work or school account

Step 3:

Fill out your account information and complete the captcha. Click Next.

If you receive this notification, click "contact your administrator and an email will be sent to Support for assistance.

Step 5:

If you are eligible for Self-Service Password Reset(SSPR), you will be asked to confirm your identity by using your 2 Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA) methods.

Step 6:

Type in a new password. Please follow these criteria

12 character minimum
Uppercase
Lowercase
Special Characters
Numbers

It is suggested to use a passphrase instead of a password. These make it easier to remember for you , while being more secure.
